An app to dance your way to tickets

Like a true party girl Vodafone sponsored ID&T events like Sensation and Mysteryland and they wanted to emphasize their sponsorship in a positive and innovative way without interfering with the festival experience like other brands often do.

Vodafone Party Starter is an accelerometer enabled mobile app that measures your party stamina to see if you’ve got what it takes to visit one of the sold out ID&T parties like Sensation, Mysteryland or Welcome to the Future, which sell out in merely minutes.

The app is based on the universal electronic music dance move, the fistpump. Dance with your phone in hand and the music will play accordingly to your rhythm. The music will speed up if you do, so keep it at a steady BPM to keep it going. If you keep it up the longest you’ll earn free tickets to one of the events.

With 131 hours of partying one of our contestants earned his tickets fair and square.

TLDR: We utilised the 'fist pump' to enable people to get tickets to the a sold out Sensation, Mysteryland & WTTF.
