adidas orginials | ozworld
adidas Originals were losing their connection with the Gen Z audience and asked us to help them reconnect. Our bespoke research indicated that 1 in 3 Gen Z’ers feel their digital expression is their most authentic self. As an enabler of originality adidas knows the importance of self expression but the options to self-express in the metaverse leave much to be desired. You can either use a generic but affordable skin, or an expensive but unique NFT avatar. We created the world’s first personality based, AI generated, unique to you, interoperable avatar platform that can be taken to 2000+ metaverse platforms.
TLDR: We created the worlds first personality based, AI generated, interoperable avatar creation platform enabling users to express themselves consistently across the web.

THE experience
Using the five factor model of personality we asked users to answer a few intuitive questions so our AI could learn more about their personality and assemble the avatar accordingly. Using a visual aura users answered questions measuring character traits like extraversion and openness to explore and asked to share colour or sneaker preference. This input landed users on a scale that corresponded with a modular avatar aestehtic.
THE avatar
We based the overall avatar aesthetic on the Ozworld collection resulting in six different modular geometric avatar bases and with 60 different colours, 24 different materials and 12 different add ins we were able to create over 10.000.000 unique avatar variations.
traversing the metaverse
After generating their avatar users could play around with their avatar and take it to 2.000 different metaverse platforms through a bespoke partnership with ReadyPlayerMe.
a perpetual comms vehicle
Although there wasn’t any real media support we were able to spark a lot of conversation. Through a clever teasing construct using digital seeding, AR filters, influencer distribution and PR we kicked off the conversation. As soon as we teased an image of the avatars the discord channels blew up.
